Ep.#04 - The Princess's Power

Tal and Samaha venture to Flora Castle which has been moved and stuffed with guards (actually just three). Now that they have saved Princess Lotus and the Flora Kingdom residents, they must find a safe place to stay away from the evil.

Tal: So where are we going, anyway?
Samaha: That towah ovah tha, mahn. That should be a good place.
Tal: All right, let's go.

They head out of the castle towards the tower, but someone stops them.

Lotus: Who're you?
Mellow: Hello there, I'm Mellow. My favorite color is yellow. I'm not fond of the cello but I can shake like Jello... yeah!
Tal: We don't have time for introductions, we've got to go.
Mellow: Wait, don't go off and run, we were just starting to have some fun! Here, have a bun, I have a ton. Takes out a loaf of bread.
Samaha: Just shut up, mahn...
Mellow: Puts the bread away. Oh no, the song's only begun! ... If you floss your teeth everyday you do, then all the girls will want to kiss you!
Tal: No way that's true!
Mellow: It is too!
Lotus: Achoo!
Mellow: Oh no, it looks like she's not well, you'd better go tell! But if they don't heal her because they can't sell, then they should go rot in h-...
Tal: Would you shut it already?!?
Mellow: Oh, are you already on your way? Please stay, maybe we could go canoeing in the bay...

Just then, Mellow figures out they already left.

Mellow: Wha? That wasn't nice. In fact, it was as cold as ice... yeah!

Tal, Samaha, Lotus, and the Flora residents all made it to the tower.

Samaha: Good, everyone made it. This seems like a good place fah everyone tah stay, mahn.
Tal: Let's check out the inside of the tower.

Tal, Lotus, and Samaha walked up the tower.

Tal: So the only thing we need to do now is defeat the evil that killed my mom, right?
Lotus: The evil killed your mom too? I'm so sorry...
Tal: Wait, what do you mean "too"?
Samaha: Her parents were killed by the evil, mahn.
Tal: What?!? Why does the evil kill people for no reason?
Lotus: Actually, the evil killed my parents because they were guarding the Wish Orb.
Tal: The Wish Orb?
Lotus: It's an orb that grants wishes. The evil wanted it for itself, but my parents wouldn't let it take it. So the evil killed my parents...
Tal: Oh, I'm sorry...
Samaha: Watch yah step!
Tal: Accidentally trips on a ragged step.
Samaha: I said watch yah step, mahn...
Lotus: Are you okay?
Tal: Gets up. Yeah, ow...

They made it up the tower. Everyone was on the balcony, except for Tal, who had to stay in bed because he hurt his leg.

Tal: I don't know why their making me stay in bed, my leg doesn't hurt that much...
Lotus: Tal, is your leg doing okay?
Tal: Lotus?
Lotus: Comes in the room.
Tal: Oh sorry, I shouldn't call you by just your first name like that. After all, you're the princess of the Flora Kingdom...
Lotus: No, it's fine. Besides, you're not exactly an ordinary person yourself, chosen one.
Tal (blushing): Heh, I don't think it's such a big deal...
Lotus: Anyway, I can help your leg get better. Can I see it?
Tal: Sure. Shows her his hurt leg.
Lotus: That's a really big bruise, but at least there are no cuts or scrapes. Okay, hold still and relax...
Tal: A-alright...
Lotus: Puts her hands over his bruised leg. Her hands start to glow, then after they stop glowing his bruise disappears.
Tal: Hey, it's doesn't hurt anymore! Thanks!
Lotus: Y-you're welcome...
Tal: Are you okay?
Lotus: Yeah, I'm f-fine... Starts walking back to the balcony, but falls. Luckily, she lands on one of the beds.
Tal: What's wrong? Is something wrong with your leg? Checks her leg. There's a bruise on it, one that looks identical to the one Tal had. Where did you get that bruise? Don't tell me you got it from...
Lotus: I have the ability to transfer pain from one person to myself...
Tal: Lotus...
Lotus: I'm sorry, I just wanted to help... Please don't tell Samaha I did this...
Tal: All right, but promise me you'll never do that again.
Lotus: ...okay...

Tal goes to the balcony and Lotus goes to bed since her leg is bruised. Will her leg get better? And will Samaha find out? Find out in Episode #05 of Chosen Tal...
