Element Temp Ep.#10 - Camping Trip

Julius and the others go to the beach since it was a hot day. But their fun is stopped by a Sand Monster! Luckily Julius was prepared, so they took care of it easily! Will their fights be easier from now on?Julius: In the kitchen. Okay! Got some grass, a rock, some dirt, a feather, and two water bottles; one with water, and another one with ice inside.
Stat: But the ice might melt...
Julius: Don't worry, I'll just keep it in the freezer for now. Puts the bottle in his freezer. I also have a battery and a piece of metal in my room. That's all of the elements I've used! At least I think so...
Stat: What about Bug Power?
Julius: Oh yeah, but what can I use besides empty cocoons? They aren't exactly that easy to find...
Stat: Hm... maybe now's a good time I tell you about Element Orbs.
Julius: Element Orbs?
Stat: You see, some elements can't be collected from your everyday items. So of course collecting things to use them would be difficult. But if you use an Element Orb, you can automatically use that element without have to waste anything. Not even the orb itself is wasted; you get the orb back to use again.
Julius: Are they hard to find?
Stat: Yes, and they could be anywhere in Tempus...
Julius: So what do they look like?
Stat: Do you remember the dream you had that night before you met me?
Julius: Oh yeah, those floating things! Were those the orbs?
Stat: That is correct.
Julius: But if they're all spread around Tempus, then I might not be able to look for them all; my parents would never let me travel the whole region! And even if I told them it was because I had powers they would never let me risk my life fighting monsters...
Stat: Yes, that is a problem...
Sarah: Comes in the kitchen. Morning, brother!
Julius: Hey sister, what's up?
Sarah: Mom and dad have the week off, so we're going to go camping!
Julius: Camping?
Stat: You know, this is a great opportunity to look for an orb. I have the power to sense if they're nearby, so if there's one there then we'll know.
Julius: Really? Hey Sarah, let's ask mom and dad if Rei can come too.
Sarah: Yeah, okay! But where does she live?
Julius: Rei said she lives near the beach, right? Let's check there.
They go to the houses near the beach, checking to see if Rei lives nearby. Luckily, she was siting outside on her porch. Sarah: Hey, Rei!
Rei: Huh? What're you guys doing here? Wait a minute, how did you even know I lived here?
Julius: You told us you lived near the beach, remember?
Sarah: So we checked the houses to see where you live.
Rei: Are you serious? You really went inside everyone's house?
Julius: We didn't go inside the houses... Besides, we had an idea you'd be outside. You seem to be an outdoor person.
Statette: You're right about that; she goes outside whenever she can! In fact, I bet she could live out here!
Rei: I don't go outside that much...
Sarah: If you really like to be outside, then do you like to go camping?
Rei: Yeah, I guess... Why do you ask?
Sarah: We want to know if you'll go camping with us.
Rei: Why do you always want to bring me everywhere you go, Sarah?
Sarah: Actually, Julius had the idea.
Rei: R-really?
Julius: Yeah.
Rei: Well... Sure, I guess...
Sarah: Okay, we'll see you later then!
Stat: You know, I just realized something... Did you guys even ask your parents if she can go?
Julius: Uh...
Sarah: Oopsie...
Rei: ...
Julius: Heheh, we'll come back and tell you if you can come...
Rei: Hold on. Goes inside her house.
Sarah: Huh?
Rei: Comes back with a notepad and a pen.
Statette: What's that for, Rei?
Rei: Writes on a paper, tears it out of the notepad, and gives it to Julius. Just call me.
Julius: Oh, okay...
Rei: Well, see ya... Heads for the door.
Julius: Hold on a minute, could I see the notepad and pen?
Rei: Gives the notepad and pen to Julius. What do you need them for?
Julius: Writes something on the notepad then gives it back. It's only fair you have our number too...
Rei: Oh, thanks... Goes back inside.
Julius, Sarah, and Stat go home.Sarah: Hey mom, can I ask you a question?
Mom: What is it, sweetie?
Sarah: Can a friend of ours come camping with us?
Dad: A friend of yours? Sure; the more the merrier!
Sarah: Thank you! Goes to Julius's room, where he is packing for the trip.
Julius: So, what did they say?
Sarah: They said yes!
Julius: Okay, then I'll call her then... Calls Rei.
Rei: Hello?
Julius: They said yes, so get ready.
Rei: Oh okay; I already am.
Julius: 'kay, we'll come to get you then.
Rei: Alright, see ya. Hangs up.
Julius: Sarah, are you done packing?
Sarah: Uh huh!
Julius: 'kay then, let's go!
They all put their stuff in the car then go pick up Rei.Mom: Hello, you must be their friend, Rei.
Dad: It's nice to meet to meet you.
Rei: I-it's nice to meet you too... {Note: Rei is shy around new people, especially if they're adults.}
Julius: Opens the back car door. Rei, put your bag in here.
Rei: Puts her bag in the car then gets in.
Dad: Alright, let's go!
They all get in the car and drive to the campsite.Mom: We're here!
Sarah: Yay, we're going to have so much fun!
Stat: Julius, I sense a Element Orb nearby!
Julius: Really? Wait, I need to tell Rei about it...
Stat: Rei?
Julius: Yeah, that's why I asked if she could come in the first place. I figured with her help we'd find it faster.
Stat: Good thinking.
Julius: Hey Rei, can I talk to you for a minute?
Rei: Sure, what is it?
Julius: It has to be in private though...
Rei: I-in private?
Julius: Yeah, follow me... Goes behind the car.
Rei: Huh? Follows Julius behind the car. What do you want?
Julius: Have you ever heard of the Element Orbs?
Rei: The Element Orbs? What are those?
Stat: Their special orbs that can substitute for regular objects to create elements.
Rei: I see... But why are you telling me this now?
Julius: There's one nearby. We were hoping if you would help us look for it...
Rei: Oh, I get it now! You invited me along just so I could help you look for it, didn't you?!?
Julius: Uh...
Rei: Well you can just forget it! Hmph! Walks away, angry.
Stat: What was that all about?
