Sarah: We're going home tomorrow morning... *sigh* And it's already 15:00...
Julius: What do you want to do?
Sarah: I don't know... What do you want to do?
Julius: Hm... Hey Stat, can you sense any more orbs nearby?
Stat: No, not at all.
Julius: Oh...
Statette: Flies up to Stat. STAT!!!
Stat: W-what is it? And don't yell so loud!
Statette: But it's really important! An orb... I sense one!
Stat (shocked): What?!?
Julius: Stat, you told me you couldn't sense an orb...
Stat: Statette, are you absolutely sure?
Statette: Yes; it's pretty close too. It's somewhere over there. Points to the forest.
Stat: But why can't I sense it...?
Sarah: Maybe you're getting too old. *giggle*
Stat: S-shut up...
Julius: If there's a chance there's an orb nearby, then we should look for it.
Rei: Walks up to them. What's all the commotion about?
Sarah: Hey, Rei! What were you doing?
Rei: Summer reading.
Sarah: Oh, I already finished that a long time ago!
Rei: Oh, I see... What about you, Temp? Have you finished, too?
Julius: U-uh... Y-yeah, of course... (I completely forgot about that!)
Statette: Hey Rei, I sense an orb!
Rei: Really? ...at this moment, I'd expect Stat to say "I can sense it, too!". Why aren't you?
Stat: *sweatdrop*
Sarah: He can't sense it.
Rei: Really? Then maybe Statette isn't sensing an orb, after all...
Statette: No, I really am! It's really strong, too!
Rei: Yeah, sure...
Stat: ...I don't think Statette is lying... Let's go look for it.
Statette: Thank you, Stat!
Julius: Yeah, we might as well. We all have nothing better to do anyway.
Rei: Speak for yourself...

They go look in the forest for the orb.

Rei: This places brings back some bad memories...
Sarah: Why?
Rei: N-no reason...
Sarah: Hm?
Stat: I wonder if it's that orb...
Julius: Huh?
Stat: Never mind, it can't be it... (There's no way an orb that rare is in a forest like this. Especially so close to another orb...) They all reach a clearing in the forest.
Julius: Wow...
Sarah: It's so pretty! So many flowers!
Statette: Over there, the orb! It's inside of her!
Rei: Who is that? Sees a woman sitting in the center of the clearing.
Sarah: What's that woman doing here?
Stat: So it was that orb! But why here...
Julius: Huh?
Stat: That's the Life Maiden. Every time there's a new Element Temp, she comes to Tempus and creates a Life Orb. Then, she sits waiting patiently for him.
Julius: So, will she give us the orb if we ask her?
Stat: No, you'll have to fight her for it.
Julius: W-what?!? Seriously?
Stat: Yes, and only Temp is allowed to fight her. Rei will have to sit this one out.
Rei: That's fine, its only the monsters I want to fight anyway.
Julius: Walks up to the Life Maiden. Um, excuse me... Life Maiden? May I challenge you for your orb?
Life Maiden: ... Disappears.
Julius: Huh?!? Stat, she's gone!
Stat: She's accepted your challenge.
Julius: Really? Then where is she...?
Maiden: Hovering above Julius.
Sarah: Up there, brother!
Maiden: Shoots a ball of energy at Julius.
Julius: Ah! Dodges. Rei, throw me my staff!
Rei: Here! Throws his staff to him.
Julius: (I don't have time... I'll have to make due with what's here...) Grabs some dirt and grass. When he tries to put it in, the wind almost blows it all away. Oh no! I hope there's still enough... Transforms. Earth Power! Transforms to Earth Mode.
Stat: Why Earth Mode? She's hovering!
Temp: I know what I'm doing! Earth Power! Raises his staff in the air to create a pillar of sand.
Stat: So that was your plan...
Maiden: ...
Temp: She dodged, though...
Maiden: Appears behind him.
Stat: Behind you!
Temp: Transforms to Leaf Mode. Leaf Power! Shoots leaves at the Life Maiden, but the wind blows it away. What's up with the wind today?
Stat: (The wind... Ah!) Temp, you captured another element!
Temp: Really? What element?
Stat: Wind. It must've gotten in when it blew some of your stuff away.
Temp: Alright! Let me try it!
Stat: Changes Temp to Wind Mode.
Temp: Alright, try dodging this! Wind Power! Wind circles around the Life Maiden and traps her, making her drop the orb. I did it! Grabs the orb. Um, how do I stop the wind?
Stat: Just turn back to normal. She won't attack you anymore.
Temp: Okay. Changes back to normal.
Maiden: ... Disappears.
Julius: Eh?
Stat: She's gone. It's alright though, since we got what we came here for.
Julius: So, this orb is the Life Orb? What does it do?
Stat: It heals injuries.
Julius: Really? That's amazing!
Stat: There's something I should tell you about it, though...
Julius: What?
Stat: Only a female can use it.
Rei: A female? No wonder only Statette could sense it...
Julius: So that means it can only be used by Rei...
Stat: No, it can only be used by the current Temp... or the current Temp's spouse...
Rei: What?!? Then it's useless!
Julius: If you married me you could use it...
Rei (blushing): T-there's no way I'd do that!
Statette: Is there really no one else who can use it...?
Stat: Well... I guess a girl related to the current Temp could use it... If that girl is really close to him.
Julius: Hm...
Sarah: Ah! Hey Stat, does someone have to have the power of Element Temp to use orbs?
Stat: Not this one, anyway.
Sarah: Then can I use it?
Julius: Are you sure?
Sarah: Yes! I want to help you, brother.
Stat: Alright, you'd better use that orb wisely. After all the trouble we went through to get it, I don't want it to have been a waste...
Sarah: I'll do a good job with it, don't you worry!
