Episode #02 - The CPU Monster
Written by: CS-Masyet
After having to battle a poisonous monster by using special powers, Julius got the excitement he wanted in his life. But that isn't the end of his adventures as Temp! But right now, Julius is eating breakfast before getting ready for school, but he can't take the thoughts of the previous day out of his mind...
Julius: I can't believe what happened yesterday...
Sarah: It's not fair...
Julius: What's not fair?
Sarah: You got to use cool powers against that monster and I didn't... Hey, do you think I could try using it?
Stat: It's not a toy! And fighting monsters is dangerous; it's a life or death situation when dealing with them!
Julius: Thanks for the encouraging words...
Sarah: Well, we'd better get going, or this'll be the second time Stat made us late.
Stat: What's that supposed to mean? Hey, where did Julius go?
Sarah: He left without us... brother, wait up!
At school...
Sarah: We made it just in time!
Julius: Yeah, we got lucky again.
DING DONG!
Julius: Got to go to class. See you later, sister!
Sarah: 'kay!
Julius: Goes to his first class, which is a computer class.
Teacher: Everyone, we got a new computer from the school today! I'm not sure why, but it looks like a very new model.
Julius: It looks weird...
Stat: Julius, I feel strange energy coming from that computer...
Teacher: Julius, is something wrong? Please sit down.
Julius: Huh? Oh, sorry...
After school...
Sarah: Okay, let's go home.
Julius: Uh, I can't yet, because I um... I have to stay after and finish something!
Sarah: Oh okay, see you later then... Goes home.
Stat: I don't remember any of your teachers mentioning anything about you staying after...
Julius: I want to check out that computer.
Stat: So you lied to Sarah? Why?
Julius: 'cause she'll want to come to; and it's probably best we check it out without her... Goes back to the computer room. Luckily no one is in there. 'kay, there it is. What the?!? Why is it such a mess around the computer?
Stat: I feel that strange energy from the computer, and it's stronger this time!
Julius: Nothing is working in here except this weird computer... Huh?!?
Eyes appeared on the computer screen. Then it started levitating using electricity.
Stat: It's a monster!
Julius: Another one already?
CPU Monster: Crahhh! Flies out the window.
Stat: Don't let it escape!
Julius: Shouldn't I become Temp first?
Stat: Okay, hurry!
Julius: I have some water in my bag.
Stat: Get the battery on that desk, too. It'll let you use Thunder Power.
Julius: 'kay. Here we go! ELEMENT TEMP! Puts the water and the battery in the staff then transforms.
Temp: There.
Stat: Hurry up and follow it!
Temp: Don't worry, I have an idea. Give me Water Power.
Stat: Okay.
Temp: Transforms into his water mode, then stands on top of the staff.
Stat: W-what are you doing?!?
Temp: Just trust me. Water Power! Uses his Water Power to fly out the window to follow the CPU monster. See? It's right there!
CPU Monster: Crahhh!
Stat: Clever, but it wasted almost half your Water Power...
Temp: Oops, I forgot it was limited!
CPU Monster: Crahhh!
Temp: Whatever, half is plenty. Water conducts electricity so water should be good against it!
Stat: Don't forget it works the other way around too...
Temp: But I'm not going to let it hit me. Water Power! Shoots water at the monster.
CPU Monster: Bbbcrahhh... Crahhh!
Temp: Darn it, it wasn't good enough... I'll have to try again!
Stat: Temp, you're almost out of Water Power! Be careful!
Temp: 'kay, this should be enough... Water Power! Shoots water at the monster again.
CPU Monster: Bbbcrahhh...
Temp: Changes to Thunder Mode. What just happened?
Stat: You ran out of Water Power. If you run out of a power then you are automatically changed to another one of your modes...
CPU Monster: Crahhh! Shoots electricity at Temp.
Temp: Ahh! Dodges the electricity. Hey Stat, is electricity good against electricity?
Stat: Yes, it'll make it overload.
Temp: Okay, Thunder Power!
CPU Monster: Zzzcrahhh!!! Explodes.
Temp: Wow, that was shocking! In both ways...
Stat: That battery helped, didn't it?
Temp: Yeah, it sure did!
Thanks to the help of a battery, Temp defeats the CPU Monster with Thunder Power! But there are tougher monsters waiting to fight Temp...
