Ep.#04 - Another Temp

In the previous episode, Sarah gets captured by a bird monster. Temp learns about Fly Power but also learns that Sarah always worries about him. Speaking of family, does Stat have a sister that worries about him too?

Sarah: What do you want to do today brother?
Julius: Oh, Stat was going to teach me about more of the elements...
Sarah: Come on, let's go out and play!
Stat: Later! Julius needs to learn how to master the elements as soon as possible!
Sarah: Aw...
Stat: Speaking of which, I've noticed that you've only been using 2 elements at a time. Why is that?
Julius: Well, I don't know what the limit is for the elements I can use.
Stat: Don't worry, you can use as many as you like! And you also don't have to worry about remembering all of the elements you put in the staff either, I'll handle that.
Julius: Well that makes things a whole lot easier!

Meanwhile someone is spying on them up in a tree...

?1: It's Stat! It's Stat! Big brother!
?2: Enough already, Statette! So anyway; that's Temp?
Statette: Yes, it must be. That's the person we're going to help, Rei!
Rei: I already told you I can handle the monsters by myself!
Statette: Rei! Come on!
Julius: Huh? Who said that?
Rei: He heard you... Ah! Falls out of the tree.
Julius: You okay?
Sarah: Why was she up on that tree?
Statette: Stat! Hugs Stat.
Stat: Statette?!? What are you doing here?
Statette: I came to help you, Stat.
Stat: Even when I told you not to...?
Julius: Who's this?
Stat: Oh, she's my little sister...
Sarah: She's so cute!
Statette: Heehee!
Stat: Anyway, you should go back home Statette. It's too dangerous for you to be here.
Statette: But, Stat...
Rei: Hey, when I use Element Temp she can't get hurt, right? Only me.
Stat: Yes, but she won't give you as much power as you'll need to defeat monsters.
Rei: It's more than enough for me! I can take out all the monsters without your help!
Julius: ...
Stat: Julius!
Julius: Huh? What is it?
Stat: I sense strange energy!
Statette: Me too...
Julius: It must be a monster...
Rei: I can take care of it! Runs in search of the monster.
Julius: Huh?
Statette: Wait, that's not the right way!
Stat: Let's go, Julius!
Julius: Hold on, I'll go get some stuff inside first... Goes and gets some grass and a battery from inside. Then he goes to his refrigerator to get some water. ‘kay, that should be enough.
Stat: Wait, is there ice in your freezer? You can use Ice Power with it!
Julius: Really? Okay! Puts the water, the ice, the grass, and the battery in the staff then turns into Temp. Then he uses his Water Power to get to the monster.
Temp: Okay, let's do this! Switches to Leaf Mode.
Temp: Oops, I wasted all my Water Power...
Stat: It's okay, the monster is a tree.
Tree Monster: Trahhh!
Statette: It's a good thing that you chose Leaf Mode, Rei!
Rei: Well it's obvious trees aren't hurt by water...
Stat: Um, leaves aren't good against trees either...
Rei: What?!? The only elements I have are Water and Leaf!
Temp: Don't worry, I'll electrocute that tree!
Stat: No! Thunder isn't good against it either!
Temp: How can I defeat it then?!?
Stat: You can use the ice you got.
Temp: Okay! Switches to Ice Mode.
Temp: Okay, here we go! Ice Power! Shoots an icicle at the Tree Monster.
Tree Monster: Bbbtrahhh! ...trahhh! Throws leaves at Temp.
Rei: Just because leaves aren't good against it doesn't mean I can't hurt it! Leaf Power! Shoots sharp leaves at the leaves it threw and at the Tree Monster itself.
Tree Monster: Trahhh...
Statette: It worked!
Temp: Okay, this should finish it! Ice Power! Shoots another icicle at it.
Tree Monster: BBBTRAHHH! Explodes.
Temp: That takes care of that.
Rei: I guess our experience from our first two monster battles didn't help after all...
Stat: Wait, you've fought monsters before?
Statette: Yeah, and we've done a good job!
Stat: Well then, I guess if you want to help, then it's okay...
Statette: R-really? Thank you... You're the best brother ever! Hugs Stat again.
Temp: Your name is Rei, right? Thanks for your help defeating the monster.
Rei (blushing): Huh? Oh... I just didn't want to just stand there and do nothing...
Temp: So are you going to fight monsters on your own?
Rei: I would, but Statette wouldn't like it... Besides, there is power in numbers! (The sooner these monsters are through the better...)
Statette: But I thought you didn't like teaming up with people...
Rei: Hey, can't a person change their mind?
Statette: Yay! I'm so happy!

So Temp defeats the Tree Monster and earns the trust of a new ally and friend, Rei. With someone else helping Temp, fighting the monsters will be easy. Or will it...?
