Element Temp
Ep.#05 - The Iron Giant

In the previous episode, Julius meets someone else with the power of Element Temp, Rei. He also met Stat's younger sister, Statette, who gives Rei the power of Element Temp. Statette's power isn't as strong as Stat's, but Rei can still handle monsters on her own... usually. So having an ally will make things a lot easier... or will it?

Julius: So what should I do today...
Sarah: Play with me!
Julius: Is that all right, Stat?
Sarah: Why do you always have to ask him? You should tell him to give you a break for a while!
Stat: Okay, okay... but if there's a monster, then you have to stay here...
Sarah: Yeah, I know! Okay, how about we go to the park, brother?
Julius: Yeah, okay!
Julius/Sarah: Start walking to the park, but Sarah stops at a building being built.
Sarah: Hey, what's that?
Julius: They must be repairing this building. Finally...
Sarah: What is it going to be for? It's really tall...
Julius: I don't know.
Sarah: Let's go check it out! Goes inside the building.
Julius: Wait, I thought we were... Oh, never mind... Follows Sarah into the building. I'm surprised no one's in here.
Sarah: The workers must be taking a break.
Stat: Comes out of the staff. JULIUS!
Julius: Falls down. Ah! You scared me!
Sarah: What's wrong?
Stat: I sense a monster nearby...
Sarah: Wait, does that mean I have to leave? We didn't even get to go to the park yet...
Stat: Yes, it's too dangerous...
Julius: Gets up. Wait, wouldn't it be too dangerous if she left by herself? The monster might capture her like that bird did...
Stat: ...okay. But Sarah, you have to be careful. And Julius, protecting her and fighting the monster won't be easy.
Julius: Right!

The building began to shake.

Julius: W-what's going on?!?
?: Mrahhh!
Stat: That must've been the monster!
Sarah: Should've known...
Julius: Wait, I'm not prepared! All I have is the water I brought...
Stat: Hm... maybe we can find more elements on the way up there. We should also see what the monster is before we transform so we'll be more prepared...
Sarah: Wow, there sure are a lot of pieces of metal lying around...
Stat: We could some of that actually, for Metal Power.
Sarah: Really? I'll get it! Picks up one of the pieces of metal and gives it to Julius. Here you go, brother! (Yay, I'm finally helping!) I'll help you look for some more stuff, 'kay?
Julius: 'kay, thanks sister.

They only other thing they found was a battery, but they were running out of time so they went to face the monster with what they had.

Stat: It's a metal monster!
Metal Monster: Mrahhh!
Julius (angry): Puts the things he brought into the staff. Transform me into Temp, Stat. And hurry!
Stat: A-alright...
Sarah: Be careful, brother.
Julius: Turns into Temp.
Temp: Okay, so what would be good against a Metal-elemental monster?
Stat: Water and electricity!
Temp: Okay! Water Power! Switches to Water Power. Temp: Okay, take this...
Metal Monster: Mrahhh! Starts stomping on the floor, making parts of the ceiling fall.
Sarah: Ahhh!
Temp: Sister! Runs to Sarah, and uses his Water Power to protect her from the falling objects. Oh no! At this rate, I'm going to run out of Water Power...
Stat: I think now is a good time to teach you about Metal Power.
Temp: 'kay, Metal Power! Switches to Metal Power.
Stat: Okay, now move the staff in a horizontal line above you while saying Metal Power. Remember, if you don't move the staff while saying it nothing will happen.
Temp: Okay, Metal Power!

A steel barricade appeared above them.

Stat: Good. This should protect Sarah while you're fighting the monster.
Temp: Good, now I can finish it once and for all! Thunder Power! Switches to Thunder Power.
Temp (angry): Take this! THUNDER POWER!!!
Metal Monster: Is destroyed by the electricity.
Temp: *huff*
Sarah: You did it, brother...
Temp: Yeah...
Stat: Are you okay?
Temp: The monster wrecked the building...
Sarah: Grandpa's house used to be here, right?
Temp: So you still remember, huh?
Stat: Your grandpa? Did something happen to him?
Temp: ...
Sarah: He died about 4 years ago... Julius really admired him, so thinking about him makes him really sad...
Stat: That must of been why he got so angry at the monster. ...I'm really sorry...
Temp: Let's go home...

So Temp defeats the Metal Monster. He managed to save Sarah, but the building on the other hand...
