Element Temp Episode #08 - The One Appears

Sarah wanted to do something fun on the first day of summer. So Julius, Sarah, Rei, Stat, and Statette decide to go to a festival. They end up seeing a band there and asked when they would perform. The star of the show couldn't make it, so Rei had to take her place! Nevertheless, the show was a success. But Rei never wants to do that again! At Julius's house...Julius (sleeping): Zzz...
Rei: Rushes into Julius's room. WAKE UP!
Julius: Wakes up and falls out of his bed. Eyah! Oof! ...w-what happened?
Rei: What are you doing still sleeping?!? There's a monster we need to destroy!
Julius: A monster? This early in the morning?
Statette: Actually, it's already noon...
Julius: Wow, already?
Rei: Stat, why didn't you wake him up?
Stat: I've been trying to wake him up for the past 10 minutes...
Rei: Whatever, I'm not going to wait for you! Hmph! Runs out of his house.
Julius: W-wait!
Stat: Julius, hurry up and get ready!
Julius: Okay! Gets up and gets changed. So, where's the monster?
Stat: I think it's at the lake.
Julius: The lake? Is that poison monster back?
Stat: I don't think so; it seems different than the other one...
Julius: Alright, what can I use in here? I've got some water... and that's it.
Stat: We'll just get stuff when we go outside.
Julius: Okay. Gets some water and gets some grass and a rock from outside. He puts them all in his staff and transforms.
Temp: Aw man, I didn't find that much stuff...
Stat: Don't worry, it's good enough.
Temp: 'kay, Water Power! Changes to Water Mode then shoots a blast of water to get to the lake.
Rei: Using Fire Power. It's about time!
Temp: So that's Fire Power, huh? Transforms to Stone Mode.
Temp: *sigh* Not again...
Stat: You'd better hurry up and switch to Leaf Mode, Temp...
Temp: How come?
Stat: The monster is made of water. Stone Power isn't good against it!
Lake Monster: Keahhh!
Temp: Switches to Leaf Mode. Is Leaf Power good against it?
Stat: Yes, it is.
Rei: Seriously? What about fire?
Stat: Fire is good against it too, but fire is also weakened by water!
Rei: I guess that makes sense... Switches to Leaf Mode.
Temp: But why is there a monster at the lake again?
Rei: Would you stop asking questions and just attack it?!?
Temp: Right! Leaf Power! Shoots sharp leaves at it.
Lake Monster: KEAHH! Jumps into the lake and disappears.
Temp: Wow... that was easy...
Rei: Only 'cause I weakened it for you!
Statette: Who cares; we did it! Let's call it a day...
Rei: Sure, let's go.
Temp: Stat, are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Stat: Yes, it was way too easy...
Rei: I already you, I...
Stat: IT'S COMING BACK!
Temp: Huh?!?
Lake Monster: Comes out of the lake. KEAHH! Grabs Temp.
Temp (struggling): Urgh! Let go of me!
Rei: Temp!
Someone in a cloak appears next to the monster.?: So, the Chosen of the Elements is defeated by this mere Lake Monster! How pathetic!
Rei: Who are you?
Statette: It's...
Stat: ...The One!
Temp: The One?!? You mean... she's the creator of the monsters?
Rei: (I-it's her!) Switches to Fire Mode.
Rei: FIRE POWER! Blasts fire at The One.
The One: Dodges it and attacks Rei, switching her to Leaf Power. You actually think you can hurt me that easily?
Rei: Darn it, my Fire Power...
Statette: Rei, the Lake Monster!
Rei: Huh?!?
Lake Monster: Keahhh! Starts charging towards Rei.
Temp (weakened): Stat... I'm too weak to switch myself... Can you switch me to Stone Power?
Stat: But why do you...
Temp: Just trust me; I have an idea!
Stat: Alright... Switches Temp to Stone Power.
The One: (That fool, what is he thinking?!?)
Rei: Go ahead, Lake Monster! I'll just attack you with my Leaf Power!
Statette: But Rei, you're almost out of Leaf Power!
Rei: What?!? No! It's my only element left!
Lake Monster: Keahhh! Raises its arm to attack.
Statette: REI!
Temp: STONE POWER! Makes a rock barricade around Rei, blocking the Lake Monster's attack.
Lake Monster: KEAHHH! Lets go of Temp.
Stat: Good strategy, Temp!
The One: (So that was his plan... I underestimated him...) Until next time, Chosen of the Elements... Disappears.
Rei: No, she's gone!
Statette: Rei, the monster!
Lake Monster: Keahhh!
Temp: Switches to Leaf Mode.
Temp: I've had enough of you! LEAF POWER! Attacks it with sharp leaves.
Lake Monster: KEAHHHHH!!! Explodes.
Temp: *huff* Did it...
Statette: That was a close one...
Rei: ... Switches back to normal.
Rei: Let's go, Statette... (Someday... You will pay...) Walks away.
Stat: Let's go home too...
Temp: Yeah... Returns to normal then goes home.
Julius: Hey, Sarah! I'm back!
Sarah: Brother?
Julius: You're probably wondering where I was weren't you?
Sarah: You went somewhere? I thought you were sleeping!
Julius: Huh?
Temp finally meets The One; in a life-threatening situation! Having almost defeated Rei with a single shot, she'll be a tough opponent to face...
