Indigo the Witch
Episode #11 - Lost

Sharp learns that witches aren't very fond with ordinary humans because of a war between them 3,000 years ago. But the humans are even worse - they hate witches so much that they treat them as evil monsters in their legend! Because of this, Indigo runs away, afraid of how everyone would treat her if they found out she was a witch. Sharp goes in search of Indigo, even though Doug tells him not to. Doug tries to follow him, but is stopped by Katie, who also wishes for Indigo's return.

Sharp: Outside looking for Indigo. Darn it, where are you? Indigo!
?: You'll never find her like that, idiot!
Sharp: That voice!
Fuchsia: Appears in front of him. I know where Indigo is. I'll tell you if you want.
Sharp: Really? You will?
Fuchsia: Yeah, on one condition.
Sharp (nervous): C-condition?
Fuchsia: Relax, it's nothing big. She's somewhere in the middle of the woods hiding in a tree.
Sharp: The woods? ... Why should I trust you?
Fuchsia: Because lying about something like this would be stupid.
Sharp: ...fine, I'll check the woods. Starts running towards the woods.
Fuchsia: Hey, where do you think you're going? There's a condition to what I just told you, remember?
Sharp: Stops running. What's the condition?
Fuchsia: Just tell her that it'll be decided tomorrow night.
Sharp: What'll be decided?
Fuchsia: If you don't tell her, then I'll see to your baby sister's death.
Sharp (angry): Leave Kat out of this!
Fuchsia: Nothing will happen to her as long as you give her the information. See ya! Disappears.
Sharp: ... I've got to look for Indigo now. Starts running again.

Meanwhile, in the woods...

Indigo (crying): Hiding in a tree. No one will like me anymore... Sharp probably won't either... *sniff*
Sharp: In the woods looking for Indigo. Indigo!
Indigo: Sharp? Looks out of the tree.
Sharp: There you are! Runs to the tree.
Indigo: You came here to look for me?
Sharp: Of course! I was worried about you!
Indigo: Y-you were?
Sharp: Yeah. Why wouldn't I be? I'm your friend, Indigo!
Indigo: We're still friends? You don't hate me?
Sharp: Why would I hate you?
Indigo: Because I'm a witch...
Sharp: So? I already told you, I don't believe the legend.
Indigo: But what about the others? If they find out...
Sharp: I'm sure they'll understand. They really care about you, Indigo.
Indigo: You sure?
Sharp: Yes, I am. And even if they don't, then I'll make sure they do.
Indigo (blushing): R-really?
Sharp: Yeah.
Indigo: Hugs Sharp. Thank you so much! You're my best friend ever!
Sharp (blushing): ...
Indigo: I'm going to miss you, Sharp...
Sharp: Huh?
Indigo: I-it's nothing...
Sharp: Anyway, we should go back. It's getting late.
Indigo: Yeah...

All of a sudden, they hear a thunder crash.

Indigo: Clings onto Sharp. W-what was that?!?
Sharp: Relax, it was just thunder. Wait, thunder?!? That means...

It starts to rain.

Sharp: Darn it, what bad timing... Indigo, can you make it stop raining?
Indigo: No, not even with my new lightning abilities...
Sharp: Alright, then how about you make an umbrella?
Indigo: But your parents might wonder where we got it from...
Sharp: It's alright, they already know.
Indigo (horrified): W-what?!?
Sharp: We can just explain the magic thing to them...
Indigo (angry): Why did you tell them for?!? Weren't you the one who said they shouldn't know?
Sharp: But I...
Indigo: I trusted you, Sharp... Starts crying. *sniff* N-now they're going to hate me...
Sharp: Indigo, they wo-...
Indigo (crying): I HATE YOU, SHARP!!! Runs away.
Sharp: Indigo, no! Runs after her.
Indigo: Trips on a tree root. Ow!
Sharp: Runs up to Indigo. Indigo, are you alright?
Indigo: Lying on the ground. Leave me alone...
Sharp: Indigo, it's dark and it's raining. We need to get home quickly.
Indigo: Sits up. But they hate me...
Sharp: They don't hate you.
Indigo: Yeah, they do...
Sharp: Indigo...
Indigo: How did they react when you told them I'm a witch?
Sharp: Uh... (Remembers what Doug said: "We're better off without her.") Indigo, that doesn't matter.
Indigo: Huh?
Sharp: Even if they do hate you, I'll still be your friend, Indigo. I'll never hate you, no matter what they say.
Indigo: R-really? You promise?
Sharp: I promise.
Indigo (crying): S-Sharp... *sniff* I'm sorry... Let's go.
Sharp: Okay.
Indigo: Tries to get up, but can't. Something's wrong with my leg...
Sharp: Let me see... Looks at Indigo's leg. Indigo, your leg is scraped!
Indigo: That explains why it hurts so much... Uses her magic to make a cloth and ties it around her leg. There, that should help. Makes a jacket with her magic and gives it to Sharp. I'm too tired to teleport. You'll have to go get help...
Sharp: No, I'll carry you back myself.
Indigo: But Sharp...
Sharp: Puts the jacket around Indigo.
Indigo: W-what are you doing? That was for you...
Sharp: Don't worry about it. You need it more than me anyway.
Indigo (blushing): Sharp...
Sharp: Okay, climb on my back.
Indigo: ...okay... Climbs on Sharp's back.
Sharp: Alright, let's go. Starts heading home.
Indigo: Sharp, I'm really sorry...
Sharp: For what?
Indigo: For saying I hated you...
Sharp: Oh, don't worry about it. I forgive you, Indigo.
Indigo: Sharp...
Sharp: Yeah? ... Indigo?
Indigo: Falls asleep. Zzz...
Sharp: (Good night, Indigo.) Walks home with Indigo on his back. When he gets there, everyone is waiting for them. Huh?
Mom: Holding Katie. Are you two alright?
Katie: Sha! Igo!
Doug: About time you got here. I was about to go looking for you.
Sharp: I'm surprised you didn't.
Dad: Katie didn't let him.
Sharp: Huh? Kat?
Doug: When I went after you, Kat stopped me.
Mom: She kept on saying "Igo fwend, Igo fwend" over and over again. She wanted Indigo to stay as much as you did.
Sharp: Kat... Thank you...
Dad: Anyway, you two had better get dry. You'll catch a cold if you stay in those wet clothes.
Sharp: Does this mean Indigo can stay?
Mom: Of course! She's like a part of the family!
Katie: Igo famwy!
Sharp: Thank you guys...

Sharp and Indigo return home and are welcomed back after some persuading from Katie and Sharp's dad. Now things will be back to normal. Or will they...?
