Indigo the Witch
Episode #09 - Lightning Boom!
Written by: CS-Masyet
Sharp and Indigo finally learn who cast the spell on Sharp's parents. It was Fuchsia, Indigo's sister. She has also done other things to try and meddle with them; but why? / Everyone is getting ready to leave the hotel and go back home.
Indigo: It was so much fun here; do we really have to leave?
Sharp: We have to go home eventually.
Indigo: Looks down at the ground. Yeah...
Sharp: Indigo, are you okay?
Indigo: Y-yeah, I'm fine!
Mom: Hey, let's go!
Sharp/Indigo: Okay!
Dad: Wait, we should have something to remember the great time we had here! How about a picture?
Mom: Good idea!
Dad: Gives the camera to someone so he could take a picture of them. I can't wait until this gets developed!
Mom: Alright, let's get going!
They all drive home.
Indigo: Back home again! I kinda missed this place...
Sharp: Runs inside.
Indigo: Sharp?
Sharp: Runs up to his room and opens a drawer. Where is it? Takes the letter out of the drawer. Here it is!
Indigo: Comes into the room. What's that, Sharp?
Sharp: The letter your father gave me. Fuchsia said something about it being fake.
Indigo: Can I see?
Sharp: Can't; the letter says I can't show it to you.
Indigo: That can't be! My father let me see the letter after he finished it! Let me see it.
Sharp: ...fine.
Indigo: Reads the letter:
"Dear Sharp,
Please take care of my daughter. She has just finished her training so she does not know her limitations. I hope she gets better behavior with your help.
- Indigo's Father
P.S. DO NOT let her read this letter."
Indigo: What the?!? A lot of the important parts of this letter is gone!
Sharp: Do you think Fuchsia switched the original letter with a fake?
Indigo: No; this is definitely my father's handwriting...
Sharp: Then maybe... there's probably a spell on it or something.
Indigo: Good idea. I'll try a de-spell... De-spelled the letter. The words on the letter changed. You were right!
Sharp: Let me see it... Took the letter from Indigo and read it:
"Dear Sharp,
Please take care of my daughter. She has just finished her training so she does not know her limitations. You see, my daughter is a witch. Don't worry, she isn't a bad witch; in fact there are as many bad witches as there are bad humans. I know that you are a very mature young man and that it's easy for you to get along with others. I want her to experience the life of a normal human being so she may not take her magic for granted. If you do not wish to take on this task, then all you must do is return here with her and this letter a day later. If you accept, then I'm very grateful to you. I hope she gets better behavior with your help.
- Indigo's Father"
Sharp: Wow, your dad sure sounds like a nice guy. I wonder how he knows me though...
Indigo: Sharp...
Sharp: What, Indigo?
Indigo: Compared to the real letter, the fake one sounds like you're forced to take care of me, doesn't it?
Sharp: I guess; why?
Indigo: If you knew you had a choice, what would you have done?
Sharp: Well, at first I thought you were annoying and had wished you would go home...
Indigo (shocked): *gasp*
Sharp: But now, I'm really happy I met you, Indigo. You've become one of my best friends.
Indigo: R-really?
Sharp: Uh huh.
Indigo: Hugs Sharp. I'm so happy!
Sharp (blushing): Uh...
All of a sudden, they hear thunder. It starts to rain.
Indigo: Lets go of Sharp. What was that?!?
Sharp: It's just thunder...
Indigo: Thunder? Where's it coming from?
Sharp: The sky...
Indigo: Isn't it dangerous letting lightning loose like this?
Sharp: No, electric poles will attract it, so it's no problem.
Indigo: I see...
More thunder is heard.
Indigo: How often does the lightning strike?
Sharp: About every 7 seconds, why?
Indigo: Looks out Sharp's window. I want to take this opportunity to learn how to cast lightning. I've always wanted to learn how...
Sharp: But I thought you were done with your training.
Indigo: Only the basic training. I already told you I'm still a low level witch, remember?
Sharp: Oh yeah... Then I'll leave you alone for the time being.
Indigo: Thank you.
Sharp: (I wonder how witches train anyway...)
Indigo: Boom... Boom... Boom...
Sharp: (What the heck is she doing?!?)
Indigo: Boom... Boom...
Sharp: (She looks pretty serious though. I'll leave like I said I would.) Leaves the room and goes into the kitchen. I'm getting thirsty; I'll get some water... Gets some water out of the fridge and drinks some of it. I wonder if Indigo's done yet... Goes back to his room.
Indigo: Still looking out the window. Boom... Boom...
Sharp: (She's still doing that...?) Indigo, you're going to damage your eyes if you keep staring at the lightning...
Indigo: You said you would leave me alone.
Sharp: Oh, sorry...
Indigo: Hm... Boom, boom...
Sharp: ...
Indigo: Raises her arms in the air. I got it!
Sharp: You mean that's it?
Indigo: I get what to do know! Takes out her rod. Let me try it...
Sharp: N-not in here! Are you crazy?!? (Especially since I'm holding a cup of water...)
Indigo: Is there a room in your house that would be okay for me to cast lightning in?
Sharp: (What do you think?!?) I don't think so; sorry... Why not just try it outside?
Indigo: But I might be struck by lightning!
Sharp: For the last time; no you won't!
Indigo: Alright, I'll take your word for it.
Indigo/Sharp: Go outside.
Indigo: Okay, here goes! Holds her rod in the air. Lightning! A bolt of lightning crashed down into the ground near Indigo. Yes, I did it!
Sharp: Good job!
Indigo: Alright, now to try something else.
Sharp: What are you going to do?
Indigo: I'm going to try to combine fire and lightning! Here goes! Lightning Boom! Shoots a electric fire ball out of her rod.
Sharp: Lightning Boom?
Indigo: Heehee, I did it!
Indigo finally learns how to cast lightning (and how to cast "Lightning Boom"). Will this become useful in the future? Only time will tell...
