Episode #02 - Witchy Wedding

Katie

Hey, I'm Katie. I'm a 10 year old girl who lives in the Htrae region. My brother Sharp is getting married to his fiancée, Indigo, so I'm getting ready.

Mom: "Katie honey, are you ready?"

I leave the changing room I was in to show my mom the dress I just put on. "How do I look?"

Mom: "You look beautiful! And so mature! *sigh* You're growing up too fast, sweetie! Sometimes I wish you were a baby again..."

"Mom..."

Mom: "I'm just kidding; I love you just the way you are! And you're still just as cute!" She pinches my cheek.

"Heheh..." My dad and my other brother Doug come in the room.

Dad: "You look so beautiful, Katie!"

"*blush* Thanks."

Dad: "I can't believe Sharp is getting married today. Time sure goes by fast... By the way Doug, when are you getting married?"

Doug: "I'm only 24..."

Dad: "Sharp is 19, and he's getting married."

Doug: "It's not my fault he's getting married so young..."

Mom: "*sigh* Arguing again... Katie, let's go help set up the wedding decorations."

"Alright." I go with my mom, leaving the two men to argue alone. When we get there, we see Fuchsia finishing up setting the decorations. Fuchsia is Indigo's sister, by the way. "Oh, are you already done?"

Fuchsia: "Yes, pretty much. Oh wait, I almost forgot... Katie, could you do me a favor?"

"Sure, what is it?"

Fuchsia: "You know the decoration for the cake; the figurines of Sharp and Indigo; could you get it for me? I left it in the kitchen."

"Sure thing!" I head for the kitchen.

Mom: "Don't run, sweetie! You might trip and ruin the dress!"

When I get to the kitchen, it's a mess. I couldn't find anything in there let alone the decoration!

"W-what the heck happened in here?!?"

Burg

Yo, I'm Burgundy, or Burg for short. One day I was just randomly taking a stroll, when this random dude with a sweatshirt walks up to me and asks me to come with him. I ignored him not only 'cause he wasn't a girl, but also because he didn't look at all like a warlock (that's what I am; from the Witch World). I was kinda wondering how he got to the Witch World in the first place, until he transported me to this strange room. There was this weird diamond-floating thing in there.

He asked me to bring a girl named Katie to this room. He said it was really important. I was hestitant at first, until he showed me her picture. She was the cutest girl I'd ever seen! I would do anything to see her in person, even if it meant working with these weirdos.

The diamond dude told me to go to northern Htrae to find her. I knew where Htrae was - it's where the Witch World is in the other dimension. I was surprised he knew about the other dimension; only witch folk really know about that.

Anyway, I went to northern Htrae and this weird beepy thing I got from him pointed to a place where a wedding was being held (the beepy thing sure is annoying...). My hopes kinda went down when I saw it because I thought for a while that she was getting married. But she looked too young, so I just laughed at my own stupid idea.

When I entered, I stumbled upon the kitchen. The food looked really good, so I couldn't help eating some. I kinda made a mess though... When I heard someone come in, I hid in a tall cabinet.

And this is the situation I'm in now...

Katie: "Who made this mess?!? Hello? Is someone in here?"

"(Wait, that's her!)" I fall out of the cabinet. "Ow..."

Katie: "W-who are you?"

"Hm?" I get up and look at her. She was wearing a beautiful dress that only increased her cuteness even more. "It is a pleasure to finally meet you in person, my lady."

Katie: "...eh?"

"You're Katie, right? I'm Burgundy. Just call me Burg."

Katie: "How do you know my name?"

"You've got to come with me right away. It's really important."

Katie: "W-what?!? No! I have to go to a wedding!"

"Alright, after the wedding then!"

Katie: "...whatever it is, you don't really need my help..." She walks away.

"Darn it, what to do..." I see a figurine on the table. "Isn't that for a wedding cake? Hm..."

Katie

"(That stupid guy almost made me late for the wedding!)" I make it to the wedding just in time. My brother and Indigo make their vows and get married. It's so beautiful!

"Brother, Indigo, I'm so happy for you!"

Sharp: "Thank you, Kat."

Indigo: "I'm glad today turned out to be so nice." She hugs Sharp.

"Me too!" Indigo throws a bouquet to me. "Huh?"

Indigo: "Good luck at your wedding! *wink*"

"*blush* W-wha?"

Sharp: "*giggle*"

Mom: "Sharp, I'm so proud of you!" She takes pictures of him.

Sharp: "*blush* M-mom! At least tell me before you take a picture..."

Fuchsia: "Time to cut the cake!"

"Yay!"

Fuchsia: "Wait, the decoration... Katie, did you get the figurines?"

"O-oh no! I forgot, sorry..."

?: "Is this what you need?" It's that guy!

"Yes, thank you!" I put the figurine on the cake.

Burg: "Does that mean you'll go with me now?"

"...no, I already told you..."

Burg: "Fine, I get it... *sigh* Guess I'll have to tell the diamond guy..."

"?" A image of a diamond-shaped thing comes out of a weird button Burgundy's holding.

Burg: "Hey, diamond dude..."

Protimond: "It's Protimond..."

Burg: "Whatever... Katie won't come with me."

Protimond: "What?!? But it's really important that she comes with you right away!"

Burg: "I know, I told her... But she won't listen..."

"What is that thing?"

Protimond: "Katie, you have come here immediately! It's urgent! The world is in danger; we need your help!"

"B-but what can I do? Ask someone else..."

Protimond: "We can't just ask anyone. You're one of the Universal Six."

"W-what are you talking about?!?"

Sharp: "You should hear him out, Kat."

"Huh?"

Sharp: "If he's telling the truth and we ignore him... Who knows what'll happen..."

"B-but..." Indigo gives me a bottle.

Indigo: "If you ever want to go back, then use this. If you really wish to return home, it'll work automatically."

Burg: "So, you coming?"

"...yeah, I'll go. (I hope I'm making the right decision...)"

Mom: "Be careful, sweetie."

Burg: "Alright, let's go."

"Wait. Let me get changed first." I changed into my normal attire then I go with him through a weird portal. I wonder what's in store for me at the end...
