P.T.C. Episode #09 - River of Death

In Tear's and Ail's room...Ail: Comes in the room and sits on his bed.
Tear: You done with rehearsal?
Ail: Yeah...
Tear: What's wrong?
Ail: I've been doing some thinking... We've already heard of three people who were killed by drowning in the "River of Death"...
Tear: I thought you didn't believe the Raena story...
Ail: I don't. But I don't think it's just a coincidence anymore... That's why I'm going to go check out that river myself.
Tear: W-what? But what if something happens to you?
Ail: You forget I'm a P.T.C. descendant; I'll be fine.
Tear: But remember what happened with the last monster? What if that happens again?
Ail: *sweatdrop* But I can't let this alone...
Tear: ...I'll go with you. I also want to see the river anyway.
Ail: But... *sigh* Alright, let's go.
Ail/Tear: Go into the forest.
Tear: So, where is the river, Ail?
Ail: No idea...
Tear: E-eh? Then how are supposed to find it?
Ail: Can we just randomly search? It's a long river, right?
Tear: I guess... I hope we don't get lost...
Ail: Hey, I hear something. It sounds like water!
Tear: I don't hear anything...
Ail: Let's go! Runs off.
Tear: W-wait for me! Follows him.
Ail/Tear: Reach the lake.
Tear: You found it...
Ail: It looks just like an ordinary lake...
Tear: T-this place still scares me...
Ail: Leans down to look inside the lake.
Tear: Careful, you might fall in!
Ail: That's not wood...
Tear: Eh?
Ail: Chelsea said her friend died because she fell on top of sharp driftwood, but those things pointing out of the ground isn't wood.
Tear: Huh? How can you tell?
Ail: ...do you promise not to tell anybody what I'm about to tell you?
Tear: What?
Ail: There's something strange about me that I haven't told anyone else about.
Tear: Really? Yes, I won't tell anyone...
Ail: For some reason, I'm able to see things in the water very clearly.
Tear: Oh, really? That's not very bizarre...
Ail: That's not it. I also am able to sense water nearby and am able to breathe underwater.
Tear: S-seriously? But how?
Ail: I don't know, I was born this way... Where I used to live, everyone knew this about me. Because of that, I didn't have any friends. Even my father... hated me...
Tear: That's horrible... What about your mother?
Ail: She died when I was really little... I don't even remember her...
Tear: I'm sorry...
Ail: Don't worry about it. Anyway, I'm going to check out the bottom of the river to see if I find anything.
Tear: But that's dangerous! You might get hurt!
Ail: I'll be fine. Be right back. Dives into the river.
Tear: Be careful...
Ail: Looks at the spikes. (What are these things?) Touches one. (Is this metal?!? Huh? Did I just see the ground sparkle just now?) The ground below him began to shake. (W-what's going on?)
Tear: W-what's happening?
?: ROOAAAR!!!
Tear: Oh no! Ail, get out of there!
Ail: Jumps out of the water.
Tear: Ail, I heard a monster!
Ail: W-what?!?
?: ROOAAAR!!!
Ail: Where is it coming from?
Tear: Behind you!
The trees behind Ail forms into a monster.Monster: ROOAAAR!!!
Ail: Now of all times... Treble! Takes out his sword.
Tear: Paint! Takes out her paintbrush.
Monster: Shoots branches at them.
Tear: *gasp*
Ail: Sonicboom! Destroys the branches with sound.
Monster: Comes closer to them.
Tear: It's coming this way!
Ail: That'll just make things easier! Charges towards it.
Monster: ROOAAAR!!! Moves its arm towards Ail.
Ail: Take this! Cuts its arm off. Is that all you've got?
Monster: Its arm regrows and grabs Ail.
Ail: W-what the? Let go of me!
Tear: Oh no! Razor Paper! Shoots paper at it.
Monster: Deflects it.
Tear: It didn't work! Ail!
Monster: Traps Ail in the water with its hand.
Tear: AIL!!!
Ail: Underwater. (Darn it, I can't brake free of its grip!) Feels the ground. (The ground's made of metal too? What's going on here?)
Tear: (It's a good thing Ail can breathe, or he'd drown... Still, I have to...) *gasp* (Is that monster...)
Ail: (This monster...)
Tear/Ail: (Must have drowned the others!)
Ail: (Alright then monster, you'll pay for all those people you killed!) SONIC BLADE!!! Cuts through the arm of the monster that grabbed him.
Monster: ROOOOAAAAARR!!!!! Collapses.
Ail: Jumps out of the water.
Tear: A-Ail! You made it out!
Ail: Tear, this monster is...
Tear: I know... It killed all those people...
Ail: But it won't kill anyone anymore... Let's go! Starts walking back.
Monster: Gets up and launches its arm at Ail.
Tear: Ail, watch out!
Ail: Huh?
Tear: Pushes Ail out of the way.
Monster: Rips Tear's sweatshirt and makes her fall down. Gah!
Ail: TEAR!!! Angry. (That's it...) HAA!!! Slashes the monster in half.
Monster: RROOOOOAAAAAARRR!!!!!!! Dies, releasing someone.
Ail: Mr. Kooc?!?
A claw arm comes out of the river and grabs Mr. Kooc. It disappears into the water.Ail: W-wait!
Tear: Ugh...
Ail: Oh no! Runs up to Tear, who is lying on the ground. Are you alri-... *gasp*
Tear: Yes, I'm fine...
Ail (shocked): ...
Tear: ...what's wrong?
Ail: Tear, you're a girl?
Tear: W-what? Sees her sweatshirt is gone. *gasp* O-oh no...
