Kayo: This'll be over soon, pirate boy! Haa! Charges towards Saio.
Saio: Charging against a foe like that is one of the stupidest things to do in a fight... Dodges and grabs his arms.
Kayo: *gasp*
Taby: Huh?
Saio: Squeezes his arms.
Kayo (pained): Ahh!!!
Taby: Eh?!?
Saio: Throws him against the ground. Forget it, I don't want you in my crew anymore. You're too weak.
Taby: But Saio, he...
Kayo: Gets up. I-I'm not done yet...
Saio: Huh...?
Kayo: My arms may be weak, but I still have my legs! Charges towards him.

Kayo's Father: Honey, me and Ikusa are going to go train in the mountains.
Kayo's Mother: Alright, be careful you two!

Kayo: Stop it! Let go of her! The only one that's going to die is you! Charges towards Yakman.
Mom: Kayo, don't!
Yakman: Kicks Kayo in the stomach.
Kayo (starts crying): Collapses. M-mom...
Yakman: Takes out a gun. Now you die.
Mom: You'll let my son live, right?
Yakman: If he doesn't do anything else to upset me, he'll be spared. Now die!
Kayo: Don't! Gets up and charges towards Yakman again.
Yakman: Foolish boy! Kicks him again and steps on his hands.
Kayo (crying): Ow! Collapses.
Mom: Kayo!
Kayo: I-I'll save you, don't worry!
Mom: It's okay, Kayo... You've done enough...
Kayo: B-but...!
Yakman: You should listen to your mother and stay put! Points the gun at her head.
Kayo (crying): No, mom!
Mom: Goodbye, Kayo...
Yakman: Shoots Kayo's mom.
Kayo (crying): MOM!!!
Yakman: Now you know what happens when you don't listen to me, you inferior brat! Kicks him and leaves.
Kayo (crying): ... End flashback.
Ikusa: ...and that's why our mother was killed...
Taby (crying): P-poor Kayo...
Saio: (Those SIS jerks...)
Ikusa: So, now you know... There's nothing we can do to stop them...
Saio: Or so you think...
Ikusa: What? You don't plan on fighting the SIS too, do you?!?
Saio: Why not? They're our enemy anyway.

Taby: We're pirates!

Taby: So, are we going to fight the SIS in this town?
Saio: Tomorrow.
Taby: Why?
Saio: We need to get Kayo to join us first!
