Episode #01 - The New Generation

Many generations after Sérgio's Adventures 4 a child named Sérgio was born. However, he doesn't seem to possess the same powers as the original... or does he? Nevertheless, he still trains to get stronger. His father can't help him train because he went missing, so he trains alone. His mother has even asked him if he wants her help, but he refused. \ Sérgio is training in a forest to become stronger, although he wishes he has powers. He sticks a branch into the ground, and tries to break it by kicking it. But it's no use, it barely even budges.

Sérgio: *huff* (No matter how hard I try, it just won't break! Maybe I can use my tail... no, I have to rely on my own strength!) ...huh? Hears someone else training near him behind some trees and goes through the trees to see who it is.

It's a girl who was breaking branches with blade-shaped energy coming from her hands.

Sérgio: (Wow, Shír broke so many of them; I couldn't even break one. But that's because she has powers... It's not fair, I want to have powers too, like my dad... No, I have to remember what Grandpa told me: "Make use of what you have instead of wanting what others have.") Keeps on trying to break the branch by kicking it, but nothing worked, so he went home.
?1: What's wrong, Sérgio?
Sérgio: I want to get stronger Grandpa, but my feet aren't strong enough to even break a branch...
Grandpa: Have you tried using your tail to break it?
Sérgio: No, I want to use my own power to break it! Using my tail would be like using a sword...
Grandpa: But that would be using your own power.
Sérgio: Huh?
Grandpa: It isn't what you use that counts, it's how you use it. Almost everything requires skill to use, even a sword. Don't you understand now?
Sérgio: Yes, thanks Grandpa! Runs back to where he was before.
Grandpa: Wasn't he out of energy from training? He sure gets his energy back fast! Hohoho!
Sérgio: Sets the branch up straight, since it was bent from it being kicked. Alright, here goes... Lunges at the branch with his tail, but misses. Oh man, this is a lot harder than I'd think it would be. Okay, if that way didn't work... Lunges at the branch from a different angle, this time hitting it. The branch comes out of the ground and brakes in half. Whoa! Heh, I did it! Yeah!
?2: Did what, Sérgio?
Sérgio: Huh? Turns around and sees Shír behind him.
Shír: Oh wow, you actually broke the branch! Good job!
Sérgio: Are you making fun of me?
Shír: No, of course not! Anyway, did you kick it in half or did you use your tail this time?
Sérgio: Grandpa said I should use my tail instead and it worked!
Shír: Of course when I tell you to you don't listen!
Sérgio: Heheh...
Shír: Anyway, I'm heading back. See you tomorrow!
Sérgio: Okay, see you.
Shír: Goes home.
Sérgio: Gets some more branches. Good, this should be more than the ones Shír got! Alright, I'm not going back home until I break them all!

Breaking them isn't as easy as he thinks it would be; it takes him hours to break them all. After countless misses, he finally brakes the last one. It's already dark out by the time he finishes.

Sérgio (tired): *huff* Finally finished... *yawn* I'm tired; better get back home...

As he was walking back home, part of the forest caught on fire.

Sérgio: What the? What happened?!? Runs to where the fire is, and sees someone burning the trees. Hey, stop! You'll kill the trees!
?3: Or what? What if I don't want to?
Sérgio: Then I'll make you stop!
?3: Attacks Sérgio with fire before he could even do anything.
Sérgio: Gah!
?3: Stop trying to resist.
Sérgio (crying): But it hurts! *sniff*
?3: No it doesn't; it's all in your mind.
Sérgio (crying): Huh?
?3: Get that thought out of your mind and it won't hurt anymore. Then try to absorb it.
Sérgio: I g-guess I'll try... (I'll just pretend it's water or something, that should work... Except it's hot water... no, stupid! Hot water hurts too! Okay, it's just regular water... Fire doesn't hurt... Fire doesn't hurt...)

Oddly enough, it actually works. After that, he tries to absorb it like the man said, and the fire disappears. Since he was already tired, he collapses from exhaustion.

Sérgio (sleeping): Zzz...
