Episode #03 - Star Meets Via

In the last episode, Star decides to look around Serge City. While exploring, he ran into Serge in Sérgio's old mansion. He told Star he should check out Serge Island for answers about the person who will face the new evil. So he sets off for Serge Island and makes it there in about a half hour...

Star: Wow, Serge Island does have a lot of trees...

Just then, a Rhinorresurus walked up to Star.

?: Well, hello there!
Star: Huh? Hey, are you Rhinore?
Rhinore: Yeah, how did you know that?
Star: I'm Sérgio's grandson, Star.
Rhinore: I can see the resemblance.
Star: Hey, can you show me around the island?
Rhinore: I'd be happy too!

Rhinore showed Star around the island. A while later, they ended up in the middle of the island.

Rhinore: Well, this is the middle of the island.
Star: There's sure a lot of space here... Hey, who lives in that house?
Rhinore: Oh, that house... A unhappy family lives there...
Star: Unhappy?
Rhinore: I think it would be better if they told you about it.
Star: Okay, I'll go ask them then. I don't like it when people are sad...
Rhinore: I'll doubt they'll tell you though...

Star went inside the house.

Star: Um, hello?
??: Who is it?

A girl came out of a room.

??: Who are you?
Star: Oh, I'm Star. Who are you?
??: Oh, I'm Via... What is it you need here?
Star: Rhinore said you were sad about something, so I came here to find out what it was...
Via: I-I don't like to talk about it...
Star: Is it that bad?
Via: ...it's about my dad...
Star: Your dad?
Via: It happened when we first moved to Serge Island. We couldn't carry all of our stuff at once, so my dad had to keep going from the island to our old house... It was going okay at first, but one day the waters got rough, and pushed my dad away from here... Everyone thinks that he won't come back, but I still think he will...
Star: How long ago did it happen?
Via: About 3 years ago.
Star: 3 years ago?!?
Via: You probably don't think he'll come back either, do you?
Star: No, there's still a chance... he'll come back...
Via: Y-you really think so?
Star: Yeah, it was like when my grandpa left... Everyone thought he wouldn't come back, but I knew he would... Eventually though, I decided to go look for him...
Via: Did you find him?
Star: Yeah, and when I found him, he was already on his way home! And he left before I was born!
Via: Really? That's a long time! ... I wish I could go look for my dad like you did your grandpa. But since I'm on an island I can't; it's not like I could just fly over the ocean...
Star: This is kind of like what happened to my grandpa...
Via: What did he do?
Star: I-I forget... Hm... Oh, yeah! Um, are you light?
Via: Yeah, I guess... Why?
Star: Well, grandpa said he had her sit on his back while he flew...
Via: He was okay with that?
Star: Not really, but he got used to it...
Via: Um, could you...
Star: Hm?
Via: ...help me find him?
Star: Yes, of course.
Via: R-really? Thank you! Because I would do anything to find him, and I promise I'll make it up to you...
Star: No, don't worry about it... Well, let's go!
Via: Okay!

So Star and Via started their journey to find Via's dad!
