Episode #01 - Daylight Savings Time Ends

Sunny and Safír are training for a tournament coming up. Sunny and Safír are both Sérgio's and Sérgia's sons. They're 7 year old twins. Sérgio is training Sunny and Jemily is training Safír.

Sérgio: It's time for you to go to Jemily's house, Safír.
Safír: Alright!
Sunny: Oh man...
Safír: Jeez Sunny, I'll only be gone for 6 hours!
Sunny: Still, you're gone for 6 hours everyday!
Safír: Well, I had better get going.
Sérgio/Sunny: Bye, Safír!
Safír: Leaves.
Sunny: Dad, I have a question. Why is Safír getting trained by Jemily instead of you? After all, you train me.
Sérgio: Because I can't train both of you at the same time. Besides, Jemily has a pool at her house so it's easier for Safír to train there.
Sunny: Oh, alright... *sigh*

At Jemily's house...

Safír: Comes through the front door. Hey guys, I'm here!
Brownie: Hi!
Baby: *meow*
Jemily: So Safír, where do you want to train today?
Safír: In the pool!
Safír/Jemily: Go to the pool to train.
Brownie: So what do you want to do, Baby?
Baby: *meow*
Brownie: Sorry, meowing isn't really my forte...

At Sérgio's house...

Sérgia: Comes through the front door. How are you guys?
Sunny: Good, not counting me being tired and my hands hurting a little.
Sérgio: Come on Sunny, you only just finished some of the training!
Sérgia: It looks like Sunny's working really hard.
Sérgio: Not counting the complaining, I think you have a point. Sunny is doing great with his training, much better than I thought he would.
Sunny: Am I really? Does this mean I don't have to train anymore?
Sérgio: No Sunny, but don't worry. It'll be easier once you do it again.
Sunny: What?!? I have to do it again?!?
Sérgio: Yeah, tomorrow.
Sunny: Oh! You scared me for a minute...
Sérgio: Alright, let's get on with your training.
Sunny: Okay, dad! I'm ready for more training!
Sérgio: That's the spirit!
Sérgia: Speaking of spirit, where'd Sprit go?
Serge: Enters into the room.
Sérgio: Hey Serge, do you know where Sprit is?
Serge: All I know is that he needed to "take care of something." Then he just flew off.

Meanwhile, Sprit flies to Jemily's house...

Sprit: Hey, guys!
Jemily: Sprit, is that you? What are you doing here?
Sprit: Sunny wanted me to tell Safír something.
Safír: Again?
Sprit: Yeah. Sunny is wondering why Safír is taking so long. He was supposed to come back home at 15:00. Didn't he leave at 9:00 today?
Brownie: What time is it?
Sprit: 15:45.
Jemily: Oh no! Safír, I'm so sorry! I lost track of time...
Safír: That's okay.
Jemily: You better get going; Sunny must be worried sick about you!
Safír/Sprit: Head home. Bye guys!
Jemily/Brownie: Bye Safír! Bye, Sprit!
Baby: *meow*

At Sérgio's house...

Safír/Sprit: Come in through the front door. Hey guys, we're home!
Serge: There you are, Sprit!
Sérgio: Safír, why did you come home early today?
Safír: I did?
Sérgio: Yeah. It's only 14:45.
Safír: But Jemily said that it was 15:45.
Sunny: It's 14:45? Oops... I told Sprit that it was 15:45...
Sérgio: Jemily and Sunny must have forgotten to turn their clock back an hour because Daylight Savings Time ended.
Safír: Sunny!
Serge: It isn't such a big deal. You only missed 15 minutes of training.
Sérgio: So you guys get to finish today's training a little earlier today.
Sunny: Alright!
Safír: Oh man...

So in the end, it seems Sunny got what he wanted: no training for the rest of the day! But Sunny, don't forget what the training is for...

This episode was the first one I ever wrote as a kid, although it's been rewritten a couple times. Jemily never actually appeared in this originally, but as I don't want to put up the original name for personal reasons, I used hers to replace it. Baby is based on my old cat.
