Episode #02 - Sunny Glows In The Dark

In the last episode, Safír comes home early from training because of Daylight Savings Time. Sunny tells Sprit that Safír was supposed to come home 45 minutes ago, even though he had 15 minutes left to train.

Safír: Are you sure you're not afraid of anything?
Sunny: I already told you, I'm not afraid of anything. I wouldn't lie to you, you're my brother!
Sérgio: Alright, Safír, it's time for you to go.
Safír: Okay; bye guys!
Sérgio/Sunny: Bye Safír!
Safír: Leaves.
Sérgio: Why won't you tell him, Sunny?
Sunny: Tell him what?
Sérgio: About you being afraid of the dark.
Sunny: Because he'll make fun of me...
Sérgio: Everyone's afraid of something. Safír's afraid of the clowns at the circus!
Sunny: Okay, I'll tell him when he comes home.

6 hours later...

Safír: Hey guys, I'm home!
Sunny: Hi, Safír!
Sérgio: Are you going to tell him?
Sunny: Yeah, sure...
Safír: Tell me what?
Serge: Is it about...
Sprit: Covered Serge's mouth with his hand. Let Sunny tell him!
Safír: Tell me what?!?
Sunny: That I'm...

All of a sudden, the power went out. All of the lights in the house turned off, making it pitch-black in there.

Sunny: Uh, guys?
Sérgio: Everyone, don't move. I'll find the power box and see what's wrong with it.
Safír: So... You were saying, Sunny?
Sunny: Not now, I'm too scared to talk...
Safír: Oh, you were going to tell me that you're scared of the dark, weren't you?
Sunny: Okay, I admit it; I'm scared of the dark...
Safír: Everyone's afraid of something.
Sunny: Like you being scared of the clowns at the circus?
Safír: ...who isn't? Anyway, if you make it lighter in here, it won't be so dark in here...
Sunny: But I'm too scared...
Safír: You have to try!
Sunny: You're r-right... I have to try...! Gets up and brightens up the room.
Safír: Good job, Sunny! You did it!
Sunny: Yeah, I did!

The lights turned back on.

Safír: Dad, guess what? Sunny brightened up the room!
Sérgio: So that's where that flash came from...
Sunny: Yeah, now the dark doesn't scare me as much anymore!
Safír: Plus, we don't have any secrets to hide from each other anymore! ...right, Sunny?
Sunny: Um, y-yeah... of course... Heheh...

So Sunny conquers his fear of the dark by using his light powers to lighten up the room. But will he be able to do the same next time this happens?
