Episode #04 - Sunny Gets Sick

In the last episode, Jemily thinks Safír's training is getting to be too easy and fun. So Jemily decides to toughen up his training. What a surprise for Safír!

Safír: Morning Sunny... huh?
Sunny: What?
Safír: Your eyes... Why are they purple?
Sunny: My eyes aren't purple, they're yellow!
Safír: No they're not! See? Puts a mirror in front of Sunny's face.
Sunny: Your right! How did that happen?
Safír: I'd better tell dad. DAD! Sunny's eyes turned purple!
Sunny: Ow, that hurt! Don't yell so loud!
Sérgio: Comes in the room. Sunny, do you feel okay?
Sunny: Not really...
Sérgio: You better stay in bed until you get better.
Safír: Sunny's sick?
Sérgio: Yeah. He's sick with the Purple Eyes Disease. I've had it before too.
Safír: The Purple Eyes Disease?
Sérgio: Your mom thought of the name...
Safír: What is it, anyway?
Sérgio: A disease that only people with light energy can get. This disease always comes before a certain ability is learned.
Sunny: Ability?!?
Safír: What's the ability?
Sérgio: You'll be able to see invisible things.
Safír: T-that's so cool... (That's so unfair; I don't have light energy...)
Sunny: ...wait a minute, how am I supposed to train today if I'm sick?
Sérgio: I'm afraid you won't be able to train today.
Sunny: What?!?
Safír: Hey, where's mom? Maybe she can help him get better.
Sérgio: She went grocery shopping. Don't worry though, she has some medicine I can use for this.
Safír: Oh, okay. Well, I'd better get going to Jemily's house. Bye, guys! Hope you get better, Sunny! Leaves.
Sérgio: I'm going to get the medicine. Don't fall asleep until I give it to you, okay?
Sunny: Okay...

After Sérgio gave Sunny his medicine, Sunny went to sleep. Then Sérgia came back home from grocery shopping.

Sérgia: Where's Sunny?
Serge: He's sleeping in bed because he's sick. Sérgio said to be quiet.
Sérgia: Oh... I'll go see him. Goes up to Sunny's and Safír's room. Hi, Sérgio. Is Sunny sleeping well?
Sérgio: Yeah. Remember when I got the Purple Eyes Disease?
Sérgia: Yes, of course I do. Sunny has that too?
Sérgio: Yep.

A few hours later...

Safír: Comes in the house. Hey, guys! I'm home!
Serge: Shh! Sunny's asleep!
Safír: Sorry, I forgot. Goes to his room. Hey mom, dad.
Sérgio/Sérgia: Hi, Safír.
Safír: I have a surprise for Sunny. Jemily, Brownie, and I made a card for him.
Sérgio: Don't give it to him until he wakes up.
Safír: Okay. I'll go hang out with Serge and Sprit then.

Sérgio and Sérgia leave the room. A while later Sunny wakes up.

Sunny: Hey, Safír.
Safír: Hey, Sunny. Jemily, Brownie, and I made a card for you.
Sunny: Really? Thanks, Safír.
Safír: No problem, Sunny.
Sunny: You're lucky, Safír. You can't get the Purple Eyes Disease.
Safír: Really? I thought you would be happy that you weren't training today. Plus, you're going to be able to see invisible things!
Sunny: Yeah, but having the Purple Eyes Disease isn't better than training and there really isn't anything invisible to see anyway...
Safír: Guess you've got a point there, heheh...
