Episode #06 - Safír vs. Rhinore

It's the big day for Sunny and Safír; the day of the tournament! They were so confident to win until they heard Chris's kids, Andrew and Melody entered the tournament. Chris is the only person who has ever beaten Sérgio, so they have a reason to be worried.

Sunny: Wake up, Safír!
Safír: Wakes up. Huh? Sunny, why did you wake me up so early?
Sunny: Because you're fighting today.
Safír: I am?
Sunny: Yeah. You're versing Rhinore.
Safír: Rhinore? Who's that?
Sérgio: Rhinore is one of my old friends. I helped him with a problem, before I even met your mother.
Sunny: I didn't know that.
Safír: You never talked about him before.
Sérgio: I never thought to...

At the tournament arena...

Sunny: Are you ready?
Safír: Not really... I don't even know what I'm up against.
Rhinore: Hey, Sérgio!
Sérgio: It's been a long time, Rhinore! How've you been?
Rhinore: Great!
Sérgio: Don't go easy on Safír, okay?
Rhinore: I won't, don't worry. I'll make it a fair fight!
Safír: I won't go easy on you either!

BATTLE!!!

Safír: Scratch!
Rhinore: Horn Attack! Uses Horn Attack to counter Safír's Scratch, which throws Safír into the air.
Safír: Flies to the center of the arena, which leads Rhinore to use Dig. Hm... Got it. Launches a Water Gun attack at the hole Rhinore dug, which soaks Rhinore.
Rhinore: Gust!
Safír: Detect! Dodges Rhinore's Gust with Detect.
Rhinore: That was clever, but not clever enough to beat me!
Safír: I'll use Peck next... Hits him, but Rhinore barely takes any damage. Safír then tries using Sonicboom, which only does a little bit of damage. What do I do now?
Sunny: Come on, Safír! You can do it!
Safír: Right! Uses Water Gun again, which does massive damage to Rhinore.
Rhinore: Stalagmite!
Safír: Whoa! Detect! Dodges Rhinore's Stalagmite with Detect.
Rhinore: Hm... Ground Pound!
Safír: Huh...?
Rhinore: Hits Safír's right arm with Ground Pound.
Sunny: Oh no!
Safír: Still concentrating on his injured arm, uses Water Gun against Rhinore and misses.
Rhinore: Stalagmite!
Safír (panicking): Not again! (No, I don't want all of my training with Jemily to go to waste...)

Flashback...

Jemily: Okay Safír, I want you to hit these targets with water!
Safír: That doesn't seem to be so difficult...
Jemily: But with only one shot!
Safír: But how can I do that?!? From the way they're facing, I can't possibly do that! Unless I move them...
Jemily: No, you can only touch them with water.
Safír: Then how?
Jemily: You'll figure it out...
Safír: *sigh* Hear goes... Shoots water at the right target. The target moved a little to the left. I see now! Positions the targets with water and hits them with one shot. I did it!
Jemily: Good job; I knew you could do it!

End flashback.

Safír: (She said I did a good job, but... Wait; that's it!) Shoots water at a stalagmite.
Rhinore: (Why is he shooting at that?)

Safír's water bounced off the stalagmites.

Rhinore: What the?!? Gets hit by the water and falls out of the arena, which makes Safír the winner.
Safír: (Heh, it worked!)
Sunny: Yeah! Safír, you did it!
Sérgio: Great job, Safír!
Safír: Yes, I won the first round!
