Episode #08 - Sunny vs. Safír

In the last episode Sunny had to face his cousin Ivy in the tournament. He defeated him by confusing him into falling out of the ring with his Supersonic. But Sunny isn't too happy, because he'll have to face Safír soon, but it'll be sooner than he thinks...

Sérgio: Guys, I have bad news.
Sunny: What is it?
Sérgio: You two are facing each other in the tournament next match.
Safír: What?!?
Sunny: But I wanted to face him in the final round! And we might lose to Andrew and Melody this way!
Sérgio: True, but it's the same for them.
Safír: Yeah, you're right.
Sunny: But still, I don't want to fight you next round.
Safír: I know Sunny, but we have to. You better not go easy on me!
Sunny: I won't!

BATTLE!!!

Sunny: How about this, Safír? Spark!
Safír: Come on Sunny, I thought you weren't going to go easy on me.
Sunny: Light Ball!
Safír: What the...

Both of Sunny's attacks hit Safír directly.

Safír: Ow... is that all you got?
Sunny: No way!
Safír: Take this! Wing Spread!

Safír's Wing Spread connected, but it didn't do much.

Sunny: I didn't think I'd have to use this but... Confusion!
Safír: Confusion?
Sérgio: (Oh no, Sunny hasn't mastered that move yet!)

Safír started glowing with purple light, but then the light went away.

Safír: Huh, what was that?
Sunny: Oh no, I messed up...
Safír: Whatever that was, it won't help you! Aqua Jet!
Sunny: Flash Shield!

Sunny blocked Safír's Aqua Jet.

Safír: Heh, that was pretty cool.
Sunny: Enough to beat you?
Safír: No way; Water Gun!
Sunny: Confusion!
Safír: (That again?)

Safír's Water Gun was stopped by Sunny's Confusion. Then he sent Safír out of the ring, but Sunny's Confusion stopped while Safír was in the air.

Sunny: No, I was so close... *huff*
Safír: Too bad for you I can fly, Sunny! Aqua Jet!
Sunny: Flash Shi...

It was too late - Safír's attack already hit before Sunny could block it. That attack sent Sunny off the arena, which means Safír wins.

Safír: All right!
Sunny: Good job, Safír. You're a lot faster than I thought you were.
Safír: Thanks, Sunny. You did pretty good with that Confusion.
Sunny: Thank you. You'd better win in the final round!
Safír: Of course, I'll mop the floor with my next opponent!
Sunny: You'd better. After all, you beat me!
