Episode #09 - Safír vs. Andrew

In the last episode, Safír beat Sunny thanks to Aqua Jet and the ability to fly. He'd better beat whoever made it to the finals, for Sunny's sake!

Sérgio: Looks like Andrew made it to the finals.
Sunny: I'm not surprised. After all, I don't even know who they are!
Safír: ...
Sérgio: (I wonder how this fight will turn out...)

In the ring...

Andrew: So you're Safír, eh? I don't even know why you bothered making it here if I'm just going to beat you anyway!
Safír: You wish! You're the one who's going to get creamed!
Andrew: I'd like to see you try!
Safír: All right, then!

BATTLE!

Safír: Take this! Water Gun!
Andrew: Is that all you got? Shadow Beam!

Safír dodged his Shadow Beam with Detect, but Andrew used Shadow Rush to collide with Safír.

Safír: Ow...
Sunny: Come on, Safír! You can do it!

Melody saw Sunny in the audience.

Melody: (Who's that? He looks just like that guy fighting with my brother. Maybe they're related...) Whatever, go Andrew!

Sunny noticed her looking at him, but he didn't say anything about it. \ Safír flew up into the air.

Andrew: What goes up, must come down!

Andrew shot him with Shadow Beam, but Safír dodged it with Detect.

Andrew: Huh?
Safír: Take this! Scratch!

Safír made a direct attack on Andrew with Scratch.

Andrew: You're not beating me that easily! Dark Spiral!
Safír: Water Gun!

Safír's Water Gun was no match for Dark Spiral, so Safír got hit directly by Andrew's attack.

Safír: Ow...
Andrew: Had enough?
Safír: Now way! I promised Sunny I'd beat you! (Sunny... that's it!) Aqua Jet!

Andrew dodged Safír's Aqua Jet, but Safír used Supersonic on him.

Andrew: W-what? But how...
Safír: Yes, it worked!
Andrew: B-big deal...
Safír: Oh yes, it is! Water Gun!

Safír knocked him off the stage with Water Gun, so Safír wins!

Safír: Told you I'd win!
Andrew: Impossible...
Sunny: All right! You won the tournament!
Safír: Yeah, thanks to you.
Sunny: What do you mean?
Safír: I did what you did to beat Ivy, but added a personal twist to it.
Sunny: Well then, you're welcome!
Sérgio: Here you go, Safír.
Safír: Huh?

Sérgio gave him a trophy.

Safír: Thanks dad, but I thought the head of the tournament was supposed to give this to me...
Sérgio: Heh, I am the head of the tournament!
Safír: Really? No way!
Sunny: Wow, that trophy is so shiny... I wish I won it... But at least you did!
Safír: Yeah, I'm the champion of the tournament!
