Ep.#01 - Hidden Powers

Sei: *sigh* Another day at school...

Sei isn't very fond of going to school. It isn't school in general; in fact he finds school very interesting. But pretty much every day he's bullied by...

Sei: Kuda...
Kuda: Why good morning, Sei. Do you have something for me?
Sei: Uh, no...
Kuda: Huh. Well, I've got something for you, Sei.
Sei: Really? What is it?
Kuda: A knuckle sandwich!

Kuda was about to punch him, but...

?1: Stop!
Kuda: Huh?
Sei (blushing): (It's Sari...)
Sari: Leave him alone, Kuda! Stop bullying him!
Kuda: Fine... (What does she see in him, anyway?) You lucked out, Sei... this time! Walks away.
Sei: *sigh* (That was close...)
Sari: You okay, Sei? He didn't hurt you, did he?
Sei (blushing): N-no...
Sari: Phew, that's good.
?2: Sari! Hurry up, or we're going to be late for class!
Sari: Okay, Sonya! See you in class, Sei! Goes through the entrance of the school with Sonya.
Sei: *sigh* (Wait a minute, I forgot to thank her! I'm so stupid...)

In class...

Sei: (I wonder why she even bothers to help me. I'm nothing special...)
?3: But you are, Sei...
Sei: Huh? Who said that?

Sei looks behind him, but no one is there. All the students stare at him wondering what he's talking about.

Teacher: Sei, please don't speak up during class.
Sei: Sorry...

After school...

Sei: (I wonder what that was...)
?3: Go to your attic when you get home...
Sei: (It's the voice again!) Goes home. The attic, huh? I wonder what's up there that's so interesting... Goes to his attic. Nothing out of the ordinary; it's the same old attic...
?3: Go to your left...
Sei: Hm? There's nothing there but dad's collection of hats. All 10 of them... Wait a minute, 10?!? Dad only has 9! At least I think so...
?3: Take the one on the far right...
Sei: Huh? Takes the brown hat on the far right. Wait a minute, this is a visor, not a hat...
?3: Put it on...
Sei: Okay...

Sei puts it on. All of a sudden, a gold cape appears on his back, a red sash covers his face, and red gloves appear over his hands. His clothes and shoes also changed (all of this stuff was brown).

Sei: Uh, what just happened?!?
?3: It's a disguise.

A spirit appears in front of him.

Sei: Huh?!? Who are you?
?3: I'm Supeis.
Supeis: Follow me, we have to hurry... Grabs Sei's arm and flies out the window.
Sei: Hey, where are we going?
Supeis: Someone has been engulfed with darkness and it's up to you to save him!
Sei: What, me?
Supeis: Yes, you. You alone have the power.
Sei: I don't really have powers, do I? That can't be...
Supeis: Lets go of Sei. Sei was flying on his own.
Sei: Ah, I'm flying! ...hey, this is pretty easy! (Wait, this means I really do have powers!)

While Sei is flying above his school, Supeis tells him to stop.

Supeis: There he is. See?
Sei: Wait, isn't that Kuda?!?

Kuda's clothes changed like Sei's did, but he looks really different. It looks like he fused with a shark. He is flooding the school grounds with water and destroying things. Sei flies down to ask him what's wrong.

Sei: Kuda, what're you doing?!?
Kuda: Grr...
Supeis: He's possessed!
Sei: Does that mean I have to f-fight him?
Supeis: Yes, it does. I hope it isn't a problem...
Sei: Don't worry, I was never too fond of him anyway...
Supeis: I see...
Kuda: Grrah!
Sei: Huh?!?
Kuda: Lunges at Sei.
Sei: Dodges by flying up in the air. That was close...
Supeis: You have to fight him, Sei!
Sei: I know, but... wait, I have an idea! Kicks him while still in the air, but when he does this, brown energy comes from his foot.
Kuda: Ugh...
Sei: (Whoa, what was that? Is that one of my powers? I wonder...) Flies towards Kuda and punches him, releasing the same brown energy from last time.
Sei: My punches and kicks are powered up!
Supeis: Now's a good time to use a Spirit Blast on him. That should return him to his normal self.
Sei: How do I do that?
Supeis: Gather all your strength into your hands and release the energy.
Sei: Okay, I'll try! Gathers all of his strength to his hands and flew above him.
Kuda: Grr?
Sei: SPIRIT BLAST! Releases the energy onto Kuda. Kuda returns to normal, but the blast knocks him out. *huff* I think I overdid it...
Supeis: No, you did a great job.
Sei: Thanks. By the way, what's with the whole disguise thing?
Supeis: To keep people from finding out who you really are, of course! If people were to find out who you really were, someone posessed by evil could kill you when you'd be unable to use your powers.
Sei: Right, I didn't think about that... Wait a minute, how do I change back to normal?!?
Supeis: Just take the visor off.
Sei: Oh, I should've figured that... but first I should get back home! Flies home.
