Ep.#01 - First Case

Yo, I'm Aster. I'm a pro detective... in training. To tell you the truth, I actually only decided to be a detective because I wanted to work with my friend, Starr. She's really cute, and she totally has the hots for me too. It's to be expected, since I'm so incredibly awesome. She's just too shy to admit it...

Starr: "Aster..."

*sigh* Someday soon...

Starr: "Aster!"

She'll confess her feelings to me any day now...

Starr: "WAKE UP!!!"

"H-huh?!?" I lazily bring my head up from the desk I was sitting at.

Starr: "You didn't pay attention to anything I just said, did you?!?"

"Oh sorry, I was daydreaming..."

Starr: "I hope it was about your job..."

"No offense, but your lectures are kinda boring. When are we getting a case?"

Starr: "Tomorrow. But you don't even know how to do investigative work, so I'll handle it myself."

"Investi-what?"

Starr: "See? You don't even know what it is!"

"C'mon! Let me try and solve it!"

Starr: "No, this isn't a game! You'll only make things worse!"

"Please? How about this... If I mess up on something five times and you solve the case then I'll do whatever you want for a whole week!"

Starr: "Hm... What's in it for you?"

"If I solve it myself with less than five mess-ups then you have to do what I say for a whole week!"

Starr: "Fine, I'd like to see you figure even some of the case."

"Alright, it's a deal then! (Whether or not I solve the case, it's a win-win situation for me! I already know what she'll ask me to do...) Oh Aster, stop it...*

Starr: "What are you doing?"

"Er... So, what is tomorrow's case, anyway?"

Starr: "It's a robbery. Someone stole all of someone's savings. Their safe was broken into at 23:00 last night."

"Does anyone know who could've done it?"

Starr: "Not yet. We'll have to check tomorrow."

"I see... Then tomorrow will be Detective Aster's first case!"

Starr: "You're technically not a detective yet..."

"Hm... Then Detect-er Aster it is then!"

Starr: "What the heck does that mean?!? Detect-er?"

"A name that will become famous across the globe!"

Starr: "Yeah, as soon as turkeys start flying around on para-gliders..."

"Heh heh! Starr, you're so funny!"

Starr: "*sigh* I'm going to bed..."

"Have pleasant dreams."

Starr: "Yeah, whatever..."

"I know who she's going to be dreaming about... Heh heh..."
