Tri-Star Palette Part (2011)
"I'm sorry, Oran. I..." I looked down sadly.

"I told you to take things seriously, didn't I!?" Oran responded angrily, not even turning around to face me.

"I-I know... Because I treated things like a game, Reed ended up getting hurt..."

"Bel, why do think is the reason we all fight?"

"Um..."

"We don't fight because we want to. We fight because we don't have a choice. It's the only way to save Roc-Drollow from destruction."

"I... I've realized that."

"It would probably be better if you left this place and went home."

"Y-you're probably right about that..."

Oran turned around to face me, and saw me sobbing.

"Give me your weapon." He said without pause.

"... No."

"What?"

"I can't do that." I told him, wiping the tears on my face.

"Why not?!"

"Because after what happened, I can't just leave." I said to him with a serious look. "It... wouldn't be right."

Oran said nothing, looking at me with a look of bewilderment.

"And the people here... I consider them my friends. If I were to leave, I feel like I'd be abandoning them."

"... I see."

"I may be a burden right now, but I'll get stronger. I promise!"

"You two really are a lot alike..."

"Huh?"

"Nothing, forget it..."

"Is the way I feel about this selfish?"

"No. In fact, if you really had given me your weapon and left, I would've been very disappointed in you."

I looked at him in surprise.

"It seems like you may have what it takes to be a part of this team after all."

"R-really?!"

"Yes, but you still need more training if want to be as strong as the rest of us."

"I know. Whatever it is you want me to do, I'll do it!"

"That's the spirit." He said, smiling.

Did he just... smile?!
