Tide

The portal led me into a strange water-like area. The floor felt more like land though, and wasn't getting my shoes wet.

"I don't have time for sightseeing! I have to save Brooke!"

I ran forward, but no matter how far I went, nothing seem to change.

"Dang it..." I panted. "Where's the end of this place?!"

I began to lose hope, but I still continued onward. Eventually, I saw someone in front of me. Something told me I knew him, but I couldn't see him well enough to see who it was.

"Excuse me!" he called out.

"Is he lost in here too?" I continued to walk toward him, until he was right next to me. That's when I recognized who he was. "He's... me! No, not quite..."

"That sword... Could you give it to me?" he asked.

"Not another one! There's no way I'm giving you my sword!" I said angrily. "You trying to take this from me, too? I don't have time for this!"

"What are you talking about?! That sword is mine!"

"You can say that all you want, but it won't change anything; I'm not giving this to you." I pointed my sword against the doppelganger. "Now move!" I had to save Brooke as quickly as possible, but I wasn't going to let her crystal be taken in the process!

"I don't know what you're problem is, but..." He took out a strange-looking sword. "I'm not moving until you give that to me!"

This is a "future planned scene" I had saved. TSS Part is what the WordPad doc was called, so I guess that's what I'm titling this. I increased the size of the text to make it easier to read, but otherwise its identical to the original. This was made around the time I wrote the 2012 version.
